The Daily Click
The images in this gallery were taken with the iPhone using the Hipstamatic app. Each morning I randomize the available set of parameters—"lens", "film" and "flash". For the remainder of the day, I use this randomized set. Sometimes I get an antique yellowed effect. Other days a high contrast, saturated effect.
I'm interested in the random nature of these parameters and the effect they have on my photography during the day. I'm forced to work within the limits of these stylistic constraints and see each day as a chance to be creative with my available resources. Sometimes photos that I think will look great in camera, turn out really different when they are processed. This can be a good or bad thing. But once again the random nature of this process makes for some exciting and unexpected results.
